A Sweet Deal

We were having dessert the other night & Asher requested, “After I’m done having this dessert I want a brownie with some ice cream.”

I answered, “We don’t have anymore brownies.”

Asher then sweetly asked, “Well, can we make some?”

“Sure, we could do that,” I replied as my heart melted.  He wants to bake with me!

Asher then told me his complete plan.  “Ok, I’ll just play some games on my computer while you cook them, & then you can tell me when they are done.”

So I told him that if he wanted brownies, he’d have to help me bake them (looks like we’ll have to revisit “The Little Red Hen” book).
