I took the kids to Walmart last week, both to pick up a few things & to get out of the house for awhile. As we were walking down the toys aisle, Asher suddenly proclaimed, “Mummy, it’s a ‘true-a-loop’! Girls know how to do these!”
I was trying to get him to join me in the next aisle, so I said something along the lines of, “oh, that’s nice!”
Apparently that wasn’t quite where he had been heading with his little speech. His next query was, “Mummy, can YOU do it?”
I sadly told him, “No, I don’t think I can.”
So then he decided to inform me, “Katie (the neighbour girl) can do it, because she’s a girl!”

A few days later, we were again in Walmart, this time with PChad in tow. As we passed by that aisle, Asher decided he needed to show PChad these cool ‘true-a-loops’, but much to his delight, there in the middle of the aisle was a girl with her grandmother, working their true-a-loops like nobody’s business! Asher turned back to me & said, “Mummy, that lady can do it, and she’s a LADY, not a girl!”
haha cute! I think we should get some and add them to our morning routine!
ReplyDeletelol, so cute. You better start practicing! I saw up top that you're a youth pastors wife. My husband is a preaching pastor now but we were in youth ministry for ten years. I'm going to enjoy following along!
