Asher was reading out of our children’s Bible after lunch. We were at the story of Moses, & this particular Bible really simplifies things. When we got to the part that Pharaoh's daughter finds Moses in the reeds & Moses’ sister offers to help, Asher read a sentence that just didn’t sound right.
Asher read, “Would you like someone to help you? Take care of that baby!”
It sounded very demanding, which I didn’t remember from the original story.
When I had a look at it later, I saw that it should be, “Would you like someone to help you take care of that baby?”
Which made a lot more sense. It just goes to show the importance of proper punctuation.
